Friends from all over the world.

One of my favorite things to do on a hot weekend day in Granada is to grab a couple euros from my wallet and go rally some really good friends. We go to the chuchería down near Plaza Larga, maybe Pepe's place with the newspapers, buy sweets, popsicles and pipas. Then we stroll the streets of our barrio, the Albaycin, without knowing where we were going. But, then we think, "Who cares, at least were having fun and a good time!" Eventually we walk around enough to figure out where we are. Then we head up to the park to play fútbol, eat our sweets and to hang around instead of stand on the side of the street watching motos and buses go buy... When our moms call us and say, "It's time for dinner and bed", we all think that at least there is the next weekend just waiting for us to have the best time ever and to have the same day all over again...

If you can try to come to Spain, you need to, because you'll make so many friends. I have friends from almost all over the world. Ismael is my muslim friend from Morocoo. Rafa, Mario, Yacub, Pepe, Omar and Joaguin are Spanish and Argentinian. Joaguin from cuarto B is from Italy and I have two friends from France and Britain. I love it here.
